The Jellyman’s Daughter are a unique band from Edinburgh. They have performed as a duo or trio but are touring Australia as a 5 piece band. Difficult to describe but this ones a bottler.

Expect gorgeous harmonies, and songs that cross the realms of folk, bluegrass, pop, rock and chamber music.

Singing with an affinity and closeness that can often have audiences puzzling over who is singing which harmony line, their songs can range from a simple plaintive wisp of a feeling to imaginative musical endeavours incorporating guitar, mandolin and Graham’s often-unconventional cello playing, which can range from powerful, driving rhythmic folk propulsion to delicate, sonorous post-rock-inspired underscoring. The full band comprises innovative 5-string banjo, electric bass, and drums.

They have toured the UK, Europe, USA and Australia, performing at prestigious festivals from Celtic Connections to Port Fairy Folk Festival, National Folk Festival and Blue Mountains Music Festival and showcasing at SXSW 2021.

The Herald  “When Kelly and Coe sing together, their harmonies squeeze the heart… Outstanding”
The Daily Express  “A match made in heaven”
Folkwords  “Startlingly original and deeply intense… Totally captivating”
