With six albums and four books to her name, British singer-songwriter, poet, composer and multi-instrumentalist Emily Maguire is truly “a talent to be reckoned with” (RnR Magazine).  With a remarkable, inspiring story to tell, she has been featured many times in interviews and playlists on BBC national radio, her strong, thought-provoking lyrics, supremely expressive vocals and spellbinding live performances winning her fans across the globe.

Since releasing her first critically acclaimed album ‘Stranger Place’ back in 2004, Emily has toured the UK constantly, playing a huge range of venues from concert halls with American legend Don McLean, 70 regional theatres with Dr Hook, and her own shows in arts centres across the country.  In Australia, Emily’s songs have been played many times on ABC radio stations with the title track of her second album ‘Keep Walking’ playlisted on national ABC Radio.

Now based back in the Australian bush where she began her career, Emily is currently working on her seventh studio album, and an album of contemporary classical music composed for cello and piano.  She has just released a double-album called ‘The Collection’, a ‘best of’ compilation from her first five albums.  She has also published ‘Words With Wings’, a collection of stream-of-consciousness poems which she has recorded and set to her own piano music.
